What is bullying ? Trying to define bullying is not as difficult as some people would have you believe, bullying is humiliation and fear caused by another human being, who, despite what they may say, is not, and never will be better than you. Bullying is not always physical, sometimes the mental side is far worse as you feel you can't tell anyone for fear of being seen as a social outcast. You think teachers won't understand when you try to explain that someone keeps giving you 'dirty looks' or laughing at you behind your back. It soon gets to a point that when they don't even mention you their laughter causes your face to turn a deep shade of red and butterflies to take flight in your stomach. Soon all self-confidence is gone and it is slowly but surely replaced by paranoia, low self-esteem and depression. Like the repeated battering of physical bullying, it can scar for life, or in some cases much, much worse ...
